They should have known older golfers are like land sharks if you piss them off, especially when their approach shots were decent. Clearly, one or both of these kids had passive/busy fathers, and were thus compelled to create a psychodrama in order to facilitate punishment or even the mere threat of punishment -- yielding a catharsis for all parties.
