Thanks for liking 'table a motion' ... (and previously, 'NetFelix'. Sorry I don't always get back to say thanks; I don't look at my homepage often and sometimes miss stuff, and by the time I see it it seems too late to comment back.) While we're at it, your 'Automagic Trannysmission' cap was a superb bit of wordplay and a perfect fit for that picture.
Actually, their nickname was 'My Grandparents' and that's how we addressed them! I wrote my first short plays in 1976. Many feature-length screenplays have followed, including one that got both my feet AND the rest of me in the door of a major studio.
Didn't you know? CW is finishing school for people on the run-on sentences. My Grandparents were writers and English professors and were always correcting my early works, hence my reaction to poor grammar and spelling. They did their job well, no doubt. No venom registering here, remember, you're a monkey just like me.
I don't know. I feel some other people would get it. Whether they find it funny is a whole other matter. Yeah, that was peak South Park & when seemingly every episode was a fucking home run. They had quite the blazing streak where I couldn't imagine them releasing a shit season, but it happened eventually.
He got too busy I reckon. So I went from co-creator to C.E.O. of CW last year, which means I shell out sixty big ones once a month to keep us aloft. You will find a donate button on the home page. Please use it!
i remember you back then, it was like the whole, oh man that guy's way too cool. something along the lines of "another cat picture", seemed like it was a really big thing. it was like oh, rotwang is the meta guy, you can't not like him because ... then whatever you didn't like was just a joke he was doing, and he'll make fun of you. hmm, bad explanation.
it was an odd thing where people were left with the impression they didn't have the option of not liking stuff you did. which made a lot of them go ehh, whatever. if i had to summarize: so intimidating it was easy to marginalize.
hmm, shitty summary. ok many comics don't consider bill hicks to be as awesome as he is, because he uses kinda boiler plate anti consumerist material at times. if however you were to ignore that, as one ignores plenty of other comic's material which one doesn't identify with, you' be left with a fucking amazing comic. but there's this handle on his back, which makes it easy for his critics.
I saw them doing it live on CNN. She copied Donald and viewed the eclipse without glasses for a moment. The first semblance of a joke started forming in my head and it included some sort of play on the Gandhi classic: "...An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind..."
