Comedy Whirled

A variation on a classic illusion, this cat can be perceived as rotating in either direction. With practice, you can make it switch at will!

It took me a few minutes but you can do it too!!!

My wife did in a couple of seconds. I've been trying since you've put this up, and still nothing.

The directions changed for me but not at my will....I think Sydrgirl has an advantage because she's upside down.

Makes the ganglia twitch. Same experience here.

Ok yes. The trick depends on your willingness to leave your point of reference, (i.e. first impression) and reconsider. I could've sworn it was moving clockwise when viewed from the top, now I firmly believe it's only moving counter clockwise. Damn you, my brain!

I'm not sure what I'm missing, if viewed from the top this cat would be rotating clockwise. I was listening to miles and quite a few drinks into the night while I'm writing this. I'll give it another few minutes. ... Nope still clockwise. I am either correct or stupid. Is this a joke regarding the power of suggestion and the willingness of an audience to concede?
