‎... my spirit awakes suddenly from it's slumber. painful, excruciating... these chains aren't mine. where did they come from?

I feel the wind loosen... there is a storm ahead... but this time it's not my fight. The wind carries my soul upwards... and I look back to remember.

 

There I am.

Very nice.  I really liked the imagery.  Also that much is left out, letting the reader try to fill in the blanks.
